Rugby is a nice place with good people. Historic Rugby is not a police force for the many trails in the area, it's a preservation organization. I'm sure no regular resident of Rugby endorses ATVS on the trails...a few of which are old oil well access roads. Don't blame Rugby for the actions of one irresponsible person. In a small community like Rugby, the truth will come out.

Terrible place to visit. Not child friendly and not for the handicapped. Rude staff and very high prices for everything. Tour was boring and the shops all had very inflated prices. The café there has the slowest services imaginable. Limited menu and long wait times. One of the locals stated it has been getting worse and worse since they hired the current director. He also stated that there is a senator who pours state money into Rugby for kickbacks. Best place in Tennessee to avoid.
Not a family friendly place to visit. Staff is very rude especially if you don't support their political beliefs .The tours are lead by this old hostile woman. Buildings on display are poorly restored and dangerous. Trails and roads are dangerous to travel due to ATVs. Prices for meals or items sold are very inflated. The local restaurant has very slow service with a very limited menu and very high prices. Food is less than appealing. Worse than your average tourist trap. Good place to drive through on your way to anywhere else. Just don't waste your time stopping.
